Hey jeos , those vacuum hoses are very important part of cold start and idle warm and your timing , but they need to be hooked up in the right order, which is different than it was with the emission stuff, if you would like give a call any time I'll be happy to help , 210-473-7158 Helio call any time and I'll go over it with you , it hard to type in what needs to be done but it's simple,

Helio

After speaking with Helio I changed my vacum line configuration from the stock setup with emissions to this way without the emission stuff hooked up. Now my car doesn't suffer low idle when warming up plus it seems to have a little better round the town driving. I would suggest others try it out. I like it! I found a diagram after much searching that matches closely with what Helio explained only difference is my vacum line is going to the thermo valve located under the airflow meter housing first then to the lower throttle body connection.
Diagram here.

Al, I may need to do that too.
I'll have to take a look at your car.

Maybe next week I will meet you at the Milleridge Inn parking lot. Or you can come by my house, either way.
