Front Spoiler Oil Cooler Kit

Does anyone make an oil cooler kit for behind the front spoiler for an 86 930? I want to plumb one in series with the OEM fender cooler. I'm looking for a complete kit with cooler, mounting brackets that fit, and both hoses with all fittings including adapters for interfacing with the plumbing at the OEM cooler.

Thanks!

You'd need the uprated spoiler as well. There is no space on a stock 930. Most guys will get a underbumper spoiler with opening for cooler, Then your options are elephant racing or BAT for complete kits. Great upgrade.

You could get a cooler for the other fender without the need for buying a spoiler and paint work. Elephant racing and BAT for that too.

if you're at all handy you can put a kit together from Summit Racing or a number of other places, ,it's not rocket surgery ...

True, it's a piece of cake to make AN lines but it's another thing altogether to figure out which adapters you need. Do you know which ones you need to to connect to the out port of the existing cooler and into the OEM return line?

That would be a DP air dam, like mine. They do not come with brake ducts built in, but I am going to fab some up for mine, the holes are there....

I can make the correct Metric Oil Hoses for you to your specifications.

I have this hose in stock in plain rubber, braided Zinc and braided SS, and most any Metric fitting you might need.

Email me with your dimensions & fitting type and I will give you a quote. A typical hose with straights or 45s or 90s averages around $100 ea. The compound hose ends (multi-angle) cost more. Turn around time is 2-3 days. I can also supply Setrab coolers in most sizes needed for a Porsche.

Awesome, Len, thanks. I am gonna go with the Setrab 500 and I will get some hoses made up by you. Not gonna start on engine mods til the infrastructure is done.

Ruf used to make a complete Front Oil Cooler kit with Cooler, Hoses, brackets and a PU (Polyurethane) front spoiler. However, I don't think they are available any more as a kit.

This is what it looked like for a narrow bodied Carrera........

We have been Ruf dealers for many years. I have a spare NOS Ruf cooler & the hoses to connect to your existing hardlines, but the PU spoiler is NLA. There are fiberglass copies areound if you want to go that route.

email me if interested-

Len
