Hell yeah!!! This will be a great thread to follow!
Have you ever contemplated running a 964C4 instead, surely with 4wd you'd wipe the floor with these guys, I guess it's heavier and more to go wrong though, not sure if the C4 box could hold your power too.

( hehe ) that was a cool video. It made me smile.
Thou, I am not much into drag racing 911's. I still think it is cool that someone is willing to do so.

Eddie, any way you could mount some wheelie bars? Or maybe try adding some weight to the nose of the car? That and a progressive boost controller should get you in the 8's

I think light weight flywheel is one of the first thing to do on the 911 turbo !
Eddie, do you know yours 60-130mph (or 100-200kph) times please ? Wheelie is very amazing :P but you should add some weight to the nose for your next dallas 1/2 race ![]()

Lightweight flywheels actually diminish hard launching in drag racing. 60-ft time would decrease with a heavier one.
That's why a 911 can't do a wheelie unless you make big boost off the line. |

Ok for launching drag but light flywheel is great for overall performance and runs.

True, but as you've seen, Eddie's car is drag and 1-mile - both benefitting from a heavier flywheel.

0-130 in 6.2, you've got to love that!!! And you're probably wasting a fair bit just spinning the wheels.....
Yeh the idea with the 60-130 is to roll on around 30ish as you say, and then gun it. You'll probably be well under 4 seconds Eddie, which is bonkers!! ![]()

Thank you for answering Eddie. Sorry to pry, I just wondered if you might be
using something heavy to tame your initial boost curve as that monster comes alive! Thanks again |
