So close and so far away While some of "US" are nothing more than "Keyboard Racers" some of them are actually trying The man is getting closer and closer to making a dream a reality.

That's still impressive number if you've ever tried to drag these cars (speaking to others, not you Juan )

That thing must hurt when it's at full spool!

He was running Ignite Fuel which provided some astonishing results, that run was at 24psi of boost, I don't think he has ever tested with Methanol but I will ask

I would imagine that he is running +100 race gas so the meth / water injection would cool the charge even more. With his intercooler and the meth/water , I'd imagine it would be like throwing ice cubes of fuel into the motor.
I see he has two seats.....SHOTGUN!,

Why not try to lighten the car a bit? 3,000 lbs is alot of weight to get down the strip.

I'd pay a hundred dollers to ride shotgun down the strip once. Seriously and I'm not rich!

That last video of ROLL-ON wheelies was impressive to say the least. I agree, getting the power down seems to be Eddies limiting factor. I love seeing these posts.

Juan - Was Eddie shooting for a 9 flat?
Either way amazing...my car takes the same time to start, never mind cover 1,320-feet at 162mp/h!!
Great stuff.

Every time he goes out there he has the same goal, break the 9.16 @ 161mph record.

The second pass was at 168mph! almost 170 in the 1/4 mile

That is insane!!!! I know it's been mentioned before, but can't he do varying boost per gear? 1.0bar in 1st, bit more in 2nd and so on to help with traction? May not get a quicker trap speed but wouldn't it get over the line quicker?

Especially with 275 mm rear tires. Is aero drag really that big of a deal at 160-170? Couldn't a mild flare for a 335 compensate? Congrats where it's due, but in my mind if u can't put the power down go up in width of the rear meats.

Let's put things in perspective. The newer ~1000cc sportbikes which have crazy hp/weight are not doing 170 MPH in the quarter.

Eddie, we're rooting for ya

If he can keep that 60ft time of the first slip and the boost/power/mph of the last...

Is he running a dedicated drag slick like the M&H Racemaster tire? If not, he should really. 1.5's 60ft should be very possible then imo.

Which FP turbo's does he run atm?

Very cool to see, keep posting this pls :-)
