87 G-50....What Clutch would you go with ?

What will last ?

Sachs 890nm is what all the European tuners use, i use it in mine and it's a great clutch

There is also a Cup pressure plate from SACHS that is 1050nm also. Should be good for 800+

Or a SPEC stage 5 part#SP 525 is good to 1378NM or 980 ft/lbs or 1000+ HP it is the flywheel, pressure plate and disc.

Those are some seriously heavy duty clutches, good info.....

What power level are you aiming for 962? I guess that'll be the deciding factor

Kennedy is good for 650HP. For about the same cost a stock C2 turbo will give you the same clamping force and be slightly better quality. SACHS would be my first choice. If more power than that the above units can provide, then multi disc is the only way.

I have been s l o w l y working on a twin disc setup for my car using SACHS 215mm and another version using 240mm pressure plates. Biggest problem is, although it last more than twice the life of a single and increases the holding power by 500 ft lbs, the diffent bellhousing depths of some modified transaxles won't allow them to fit. They are custom made per application.
