Transmission mounting nuts.
1988 turbo...
Can I use these? To be honest....I don't remember taking them off ....but I have no other nuts left over...which is amazing in itself....and by the way....what is the torque?

My '86 has two barrel nuts on the starter. The three other gearbox stds have plain M10 nuts.
Sorry, don't have torque handy. I just screw them up really tight. Besides, you can't actually get a socket on the lower LH nut anyway. ![]()

Thanks
Thanks for the reply. My starter has one barrel and one hex nut. The book and said something about a hex nut for the starter so I put on there. I will change it around. However still need the torque...Not sure what its suppose to be with these.
Thanks again. Chris
