It's here!!! Their morning call said 3pm, and they rolled into the truck stop exactly at 3. 3 1/2 days from Detroit to Santa Maria, CA. No damage!

Based on this, I'd say Reliable Carriers is RELIABLE.

Pics to follow.

Not Waiting.............Not Waiting..............Not Waiting...............Anymore!

Yes the 930 was traveling in good company. In addition to the 962 there was an RSR behind it and a 427 Cobra (yes, a real one) that had to be unloaded to get my car out.

You are lucky. I've had cars in transit disappear for a few days...my 930 was offloaded at an intermediate stop and picked up by a second truck a few days later, something I found out from the driver, not the dispatcher. And one time I was waiting for a car on a mystery schedule, and I got a call at 2am on a Christmas morning saying they would be there in 20 minutes. My wife got up and made the driver sandwiches and coffee...

Enjoy your new car. These 930s are a lot of fun to drive.

Congrats! beautiful car, it looks in great condition.
If cars have a soul it probably liked being in the transporter with the 962.

Variations of garnet red metallic is my favorite shade of red on a car. I had a '76 BMW 2002 that color "granatrot" 30 years ago.

The pewter Fuchs and red paint go terrific together. Be careful and have fun with it! I would take it to the track!......

Cool! Like the interior too on the 930, too, especially the color matched Recaros. Looks like a pre-1980 car?

BTW, you listen to the radio much in the car while its in the garage?

I would've of said, "No, no, no. The 930 isn't my car, its the bright one on top."

Pretty cool. Sounds like the best car delievery anyone could've hoped for!

Take care, happy 4th!

nice Tom - CONGRATS!

awesome memory of delivery day you'll have... 962! Schnikies! Here's mine going the other direction last fall, now in Toronto:

you've got to be ecstatic

A super find - unmolested lower mile special order... a damn fine combo of elements good sir! Well done very well done. I am esp fond of the color, some reason burgundy German cars just rule. Discofab matching interior screams the period... gotta love it. Never see those velour inserts, I dig 'em personally.

that car has a tonna character

Impressions, when you've formulated them 8-). Plans? (coughRarlyL8headersexhaustcough)... oh and, score some H1's or H4's STAT heh heh... sugar scoops FTMFL (sorry anyone)...

ps. geebus, is that a 365GTB I spy thar??? do tell do tell...

Krikies, you have sharp eyes, Krasusky, as I've already told you! You are correct, sir.

The rest of the stable to which the 930 is a welcome addition:
