Not scared as I did it myself (busted 2 studs in the process), but can i get the patch anyway? I think it's cool!

E-Man - I'll pass on this round bro (sorry to disappoint you!). My engine will be out at some point for a re-seal and then I will take care of new studs while on the bench.
Cheers.

No worries Yasin!
Just keep me in the loop and post up pics when it's your turn to pay your dues.
I'll save up a bag of popcorn for the occasion. :D

I've had mine removed by Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). Of course, it's best if the heads are off and you can take them in to a shop that specilizes in this. That's what I did. But even if the engine is assembled (but the engine is out), you can invert it and have a shop EDM them out of there. So there are several solutions available. With EDM, it removes the stud and leaves the aluminum alone, so you can just screw in new studs with no inserts or other hardware. As I recall, the cost was quite reasonable -- like maybe $100 to do several studs.
