Damn o-ring!
I have the konklein intercooler...I just broke an O-Ring today on the uppipe.
I want to replace all the O-rings like this, or atleast have a spare just incase so I ordered what pelican had....did I get them all or is there another number? This is the o-ring that actually goes on the throttle body (it is slightly larger than the o-ring that goes between the intercooler and the recirculation valve body, but that one works on the throttle body as well - I know from experience):
Pelican Parts - Product Information: 999-701-477-40-M17 Do you lube the o-rings? I have used lithium grease for years without problem, but others use silicone grease and grease intended for use with brake system o-rings . . . Last edited by Ronnie's.930; 07-14-2012 at 05:54 PM.. |

Thanks for the part number...I just ordered 3...
And yes I do use the silicon grease on them.. I have been having to remove the intercooler on and off for tuning and idle adjustment...for some reason the adjustment screw is upside down on this throttle body...weird. and in all of my efforts I cut the o-ring... Chris
