My Custom Stone Guard
I had a small blemish right above the stone guard that I could not live with. I tried touching it up with no luck so my second option was hiding it with a new longer stone guard. I first ordered the 2011 Porsche Speedster stone guard but it was just a little to short to do the job.
I had a tough time trying to find the same stuff the factory used so I ended up with a sheet of 12 X 24, 3 mil vinyl that I cut out and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/p...30oldguard.jpg http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/p...30newguard.jpg |

factory stone guard
How was it to remove the factory stone guard?
|
Not to bad, I heated it up before removing it. The drivers side came off with no glue left behind but the passenger side left about 2" glue on the top and 1" spot on the bottom.
