Good luck with your sale and wait for spring.

I noticed on ebay there was a very nice red 86 or 87 ( same value ) 930. It seemed like a very nice one with twice the miles ( over 60K ) of the original posters 930. Ebay is not known for it's high bidding and it got to just over $40K and that bid was not taken. Hence a little more was required to get it. Sooo the subject of this thread being kicked around by some at closer to $50K does not sound unreasonable for a well taken care of 30K mile car.
Once in awhile a nice one becomes available for less, however you must be the first to get there, and there are lots of interested buyers, flippers and dealers looking for every opportunity.

1989 Turbo Coupe Black

Hi...Recently a fellow here in Vancouver had a '89 Black turbo coupe with 19,000 miles, pure as driven snow, and he was asking $70,000 'firm' - It sold within a week.

I had seen the advert and went and had a look...I couldn't find a flaw in it, The books, interior, exterior, floor the pan ,exhaust, under the motor ect was 'as new'...It's not that I would not have loved to own it ->It was just more $$$ than I had to spend.

But he was a 'flipper'- The car was from California. How these guys find these 'type' cars amaze me- They are like hawks.

Cheers

John because you are such a RICHARD, I will buy the car at 40k just so he doesn't sell it to you. That said I think the car commands a minimum of 45-47k with 50k being the high.

I'm not sure if I want John driving a 930. I mean it feels kinda like a membership. I'm surprised that he wants a 930 and is acting like a "RICHARD". I guess you learn something new everyday .

This is all great news to me! I'm going to sell my 86 930 with 40,000 miles in the spring. It is a RUF conversion and in excellent condition. I was hoping for mid-40's, but perhaps more based on this discussion.

Opinions fly about value all the time. This gentleman has a very nice car, is in no rush to sell, and will get the right price. Nice cars bring nice money, proportionally, edgy cars bring less.

This car couldn't be purchased at an auction(desperate seller) anywhere in the country for 31k. Don't sweat it Flash, come spring time, you'll get the right money, no excuses need be made for your ride sir. Can't say that I am upset with John for his offer, it just won't buy a nice car.

You know the one. It was converted by a licensed RUF dealer in Chicago. Here are some pics:

My 1974 IROC RSR conversion should be complete in the spring, so it will need to go.

I don't think English is John's first language.....take it easy on the kid.
Mid 40s would be a good price on that Ruf, do you have the paperwork from Ruf?
