Has anyone installed a set of seats similiar to these in there 930? Any comments on the install? Seatbelts? How about the runners? any comments appreciated. thanks Philip.

Don't know about fitting them into other cars, but I had a 996 GT3 Mk2 for about 3yrs with the buckets (+ Schroth harnesses), only ever a road car for me, but bloody hell they were comfortable seats.

Brother and I went on a Euro-hoon, fully loaded up (with a Tequipment half-cage) to do a weeks camping. Day 1 was a schlep from Calais all the way through France and to Montreux in Switzerland. A full days driving, got out the other end fresh as you like. One week later, loads of hooning over all the great passes and then back up through the Fatherland, and neither him or I ached. Both of us 6ft/75-80kgs....he did feel carsick but thats nothing to do with the seats

The only negative comment I've heard was from a salad-dodging mate who also had a '3, complained this his shoulders felt as though they were being pushed forward. But he's a chunky munky.

Cheers!

It was a really really good holiday - it was a hastily planned trip on the back of a whole load of issues going on at home, so waking up in mist covered Swiss fields, then winding down the windows for >30deg temps and Cargraphic exhaust bouncing off the mountains, just me and my Bro' (best mate), was exactly what was required....yup...that was a good holiday and needs repeating!
