Thanks man !!!!

This is the first set of pics. with the Sled all together. Just took
the pics. last Sat. Can't wait till it's color sanded an buffed, you'll
need sungalsses to look at it.

Front bumper is some aftermarket bumper I picked up 10 or so
years ago, We did a lot of modification on it. Enlarged openings,
integrated the brake cooling ducts, and modified the lip. We also
made the rockers from molds of the originals.

I was going after a kind of a 964 Turbo S Le Mans look like below.

We went with an original 935 tail to get the extended deck lid to
cover the new TurboKraft IC. Nothing else would fit.

Its a holset hx40super so I think its a truck based turbo? Not optimal but it was cheap when I had smoke issues with the ???hybrid that was in there before. I hope the spring with the ball will help with the smoking issue.

Make sure ball brg is larger then the opening in the oil pressure gauge adapter fitting cuz you want it to rest outside that fitting at the bottom under pressure...if ball goes up into fitting under pressure it will shut off oil supply to ur turbo...

I already tested it and it flowed enough on idle and the scavenge pump nicely sucked it all up. But it would start to smoke after lots of WOT runs as when on track. So I hope the spring helps on those situations.

Not talking about idle...high rpm pressure will push a ball that's too small into fitting shutting off ur flow. The spring is to stop flow after shout down effectively decreasing smoke on startups only...

It's the fitting below the banjo where the ball resides, but I don't think too little flow at rpm is ur issue. Maybe the scavenge pump just can't keep up with the flow at higher rpm...
