Mr C.,
Nice exhaust note. Do you have the Ruf BTR cams in your engine?

Hey, that definitely sits too low. Mine was high enough the can did not stick out below the rear valence. and you should not have the gap in the rear "cutouts" for the tips. I PROMISE!

If you have any suggestions please feel free to tell. I see no way to adjust it but I'm open to a better way... Any help is much appreciate it. I too felt that it was low, so I did a search on the net to look at pics.
I found this pic. looks similar?

Actually, that pic is my car

yeah, my car already had a KKK-7006 installed, and all the brackets that hung the exhaust were different and I had some room to loosen everything and move it up. The end result moved it up about an inch. I don't have pics of it because about a month later i went to a zork (sorry). Also, the tips on yours are much different, mine do not have those "gussets" on the inside, and are basically factory type tips. Strange......that might be part of why your looks different. can you loosen anything in there and raise it up? change the angle of the turbo on its bracket at all? any adjust-ability?

I had a single out Borla and it fit snug with about a 1/2 inch between the bumper and the tips.

Here is my RUF Exhaust before I replaced it with the B&B. I think that the B&B gives a little more kick but I would agree that the note of the RUF is better. The B&B is not what you want if you are trying to sneak through the neighborhood late at night. It is pretty loud! I paid $300 for the B&B so I think that it was a worthwhile purchase.

This RUF Exhaust was installed by RUF in 1986 so I assume it is at the correct height.

speednme1,
The photo you provided is after the clocking of the turbine side of the turbo?

Here's mine. Notice the right side of the muffler/tips are lower on the right than on the left. Do you think clocking the turbine side would help? BTW, I have to modify the drip tank by adding an extension to the down-spout to clear the headers and exhaust tubes.

I just broke out the ruler and used a little muscle on the Right Side and picked up with steady force... That's what I had to do...

mooney265,
Thanks. Looks like that will be the only option. I forgot about that stupid turbo support bracket that mounts to the engine console. No way to clock the turbine and align the holes on the bracket. Looks like its time to get out the torch and warm up some pipes!

Got a good laugh from the sound of the video at top of this page. I played it with the sound up fairly loud and my beagle got up ran to the garage listening at door then ran to the front window looking for my car.

He was thoroughly confused.
