Found this 2.1 twin turbo beast.
According to article 600 hp at 1 bar.
Says its build for 3-4 bar? Never heard of any running this high boost in a Porsche engine.

1973 Porsche 914-6 2.1 Twin Turbo

Trond, I would also just turbocharge the current engine, it easily makes 240+ hp and is FUN!

There are few turbo-projects with mag case and they hold up fine:

Pat Williams Racing (porsche)- Pat Williams Racing (porsche)- 1973.5 911 T(urbo)

And of course, DPHANS's twin turbocharged 2.7!

turbos are right there on both sides of the engine.

This car was my graduation Project that extended over 15 years. of corse I graduated long time ago, but the Project had many problems during the years.

I had to learn things like metal fabrication since the guys that was working gave up 4 times! Such a big lesson learned here.

engine is a 3.3 with 964 cams and twin hybrids k16/ K24 turbos, transmission is a G50 with limited slip. not a big deal.
brakes are NOS 928 front with 993 discs and 964 turbo on the rear with 930 rotors.

wheels are 16x7 in front and 17x9 at rear.

roof is metal as the doors and the fenders. just the front hood and rear trunk and the bumper are fiberglass.

did I miss something?

930's have a certain visceral look to them but that 914 is just sinister. Do you still own it and drive it? It's street legal I presume?

Twin intercoolers?

I still own her. and it is street legal car.

twin intercooler under the both rear fenders, can you see the little fenders on the sides? that is teh intercooler air entrance.

I drove the car only once, when finished the engine. without the windshield and mirror, little scary but lotīs of fun. )

Many on the forum are familiar with my turbo 914 it has only a single K27 but i like it that way.
Search: iamchappys 914 6 gt turbo and you can find a lot of information on the build.

The last image is of Marty's MSDS flat fan twin turbo monster.
