Odd find in our old parts.

I'm currently organizing 30 years worth of used Porsche parts for my employer and I came across a pair of euro headlight lenses with the "turbo" logo etched or sandblasted onto the upper face. They are probably aftermarket or one offs, but I thought I'd throw a picture up here and see if anyone else has seen a similar item before. Thanks.

Really neat. Been playing with Porsche's since 1986 and have never seen those.

Looks like someone etched in the turbo logo themself. Cool.

First for me to as above someone did it themself I would think.
Mine you I have always thought how come, there is only the word TURBO on the rear seat on one side and not two ?

Some owners have another carpet made, with the word Turbo to match I have seen on some 930's

I actually have a similar Lens with the word Turbo etched on the top just like yours. I

took it off cause it was missing the other one. I assumed the same thing it being a

one off, but I guess it's not......

They might be long gone by now but when I worked at Carquip we had some sets of those lenses. Never did figure what year they came from but probably something like a special wishes option.
