They didn't sell the Bad Boys car at Amelia.

I'd be interested to see if this is the actual Bad Boys car, to my knowledge Frank still owns it.

Without looking at anything else...the interior is tan...the car(s) in the movie had a black interior..some shots had the crest on the headrest..others not

After some more research, this is definitely not the Bad Boys car.

The movie car was a 1990, I believe and yes on the black interior. This one is nice, but not $90K nice. Representing it as the actual movie car would be....fraud?

d'oh sorry my bad , I thought I'd recalled the 965 being on the Amelia roster - cool to hear he retained it

I was wondering the same on the interior but wasn't positive - stoopid comments like "original car from the movie"... you'd think folks wouldn't be so absurd... sigh

move along, nothing to see here 8-)... and yes $99k is laughable...

Correction..the movie car(although two were used) was a 1994 with black interior.

Two different P cars were used in two different Bad Boys movies- one that Will Smith drove, and another that was "stolen" by Mike Epps' character in the original (IIRC).

However based on the ad, I'm not convinced the seller is being honest. For what it's worth, I found this video clip of another claiming to own the BB Porsche with a "letter certifying its' authenticity".

Limit Pushing - The Authentic "Bad Boys" Porsche 911 Turbo - YouTube

In the end, it means nothing. If anything, I would steer clear of that car due to the fact that I have no idea how many people sat behind the wheel and exactly what they did to it. Once you are done telling everyone you have the "Bad Boys Porsche", you are left with a car with questionable history. Just my opinion.

The said car in the YouTube video is actually the real car (Drendel's).

I don't get it. What's the big deal? OK, so it was in a movie, and maybe Will Smith put his behind in the seat. But it it doesn't go any faster or drive any better. So maybe in 20-30 years its worth some money, but in the mean time the owner is just going to sit in his garage and pet the thing, and be so afraid to use it. And then it turns out to be a fake. LOL

I mean, its not like its Steve Mc Queens old 911 or Buzi's daily driver. Than that fact has historical interest, and would add real value. But that's just me....
