Previous owner of my 76 Turbo Carrera put on aftermarket rims and sold original Fuchs many years ago. I want to buy period correct 7 & 8 15" Fuchs.
My question is what is a fair price for rims in excellent condition? Second, I want the rims to be period correct. Are all Fuchs stamped with the manufacture dated or not? I'm getting varied answers on that question. Any help appreciated! |

Stutt, The rims are date stamped. I believe they will show month and year on the backside between the pedals.

Stamp looks something like this, top left, sept 1973. This is from a set of 6s I sold a while back.

I bought some brand new 9 inch Fuchs a few years back from (I think) Suncoast in Florida. They apparently have periodic batches made in Germany and Porsche warehouses them. I think I paid about $800 or so apiece.
