Finally took a couple pics of my car today

I came across this cool old building just 3 or 4 blocks west of where I live and thought it would make a nice background.
So I waited until a little after 7 and drove over and snapped some shots.
There's a reflection of me taking the picture in the door.. I should clone that out.
Looks like the building might have been a race shop a long time ago.

The weather is amazingly nice here in south Florida right now. It was 90 a couple days ago.. the AC got a workout. Today it never got above 67 with the humidity down around 30%.
Tonight they say mid 40's.
It's so nice when we get the northern air down here...

Looks great JFairman. I can only imagine how well sorted out this car must be.

Thanks, it's venetian blue, I think they only used it two years, 1987 and 88. The paint code is L35U.
This color blue looks darker later in the day when the sun hits it at a lower angle.

I had it painted 6 years ago and they used Standox paint from Germany. It's really good paint, one of the best.
There is no pearl clear over on it, just the regular clear coat over the metalic color coat.
I took the picture just as the sun was going down around 7:15pm so the clear sky is a deep blue and there's some faint orange sunlight coming from the left.

That's a real looker! Love the front end, I've been contemplating adding a front lower bumper piece and yours make me want one even more.

Great photos as well!

Beautiful! Sometimes I wish my (black) car had a saddle interior just for the contrast that your pics demonstrate.
Nice stance as well.

Well damn, I stop lurking on Pelican for just a few scant hours at work today....I guess to resume focus on what I really get paid to do...then take my 85 year old mom out to dinner tonight and later.......SHAZAM! - we get a look at who JFairman really is all about!

With just your exterior mods, that's one of the nicest 930's I've seen, not counting what's beneath the hood. So many of us communicate almost daily hiding behind the keyboard and monitor, but really don't have a grasp of the heart and soul of who we're dealing with.

Thanks for sharing. I absolutely love the color and commitment to detail. Excellent Jim.

That color combo is really hard to beat and the car looks to be in fabulous condition. And with what JFairman clearly knows about these little beasts ... well, I'll bet it goes like stink!

Very nice. I love that color.

No need for the AC up in Northern Florida!! It was down in the low 30s. Pretty good weather for air cooled cars though.

Nice car!

Every so often I wish my car was not a driver. Now is one of those times.

JF, beautiful setting. What size wheels and rubber are you using? Stance looks perfect.
