Miguel / Paul / Todd - all the old crew comin out of ze woodwerk - love it! Willtel / Yasin / Merlin, / Bryan / Oil / Speed / Chris / etc... youses too! Great to hear from you all. Now all we need is Sandman Jeff, alas that ain't happenin. Tho I did reach out to him out of nowhere last year just to say hey, seems (at the time) he never did sell his car just went completely off-grid. Shame.

THANKS GUYS!

Where is E-MAN!??? 8-) He ever finish his car?!?

Yasin, I did see you on Rennlist 993... man... just like 930 'there'... I realllllllllly did not fit in. Verysomewhat unfort douchey vibe there. Shame.

Awaiting transport, likely hit here 5/1... damn border crossing and such.

I was somewhat worried about the 100mi issue and the CIS / wastegate being all gummed up... alas, Frank seems to have finagled the cure for 'that' heh heh. D'oh!

Another part of me has delusions of Ferris Bueller rides w/ the odo unplugged, but the buyer (now seller!) was a great gent who was / is a real pleasure to transact with. Sometimes you gotta go w/ yer gut I guess. Wish me luck 8-).

I'd sent it w/ 2 neu 265 CUMho Ecsta XS's in the front seats (near last pair in the country it seems!) which he mounted up, so fresh meat for me to mutilate upon return - schweeeetaaahhh...

Let me know if you'd like me to check it out before the wire transfer clears I could also check the operation of the wastegate, just to make sure it's OK you know....

Welcome back - lookin forward to reading lots of your eloquent prose here!

Hey Paulie:

Welcome back! You have been missed around here. Your keen eyesight, insight and humor are needed!

Buying back your own car: isn't that kind of like re-marrying your Ex-Wife?

Hope it works out better than that!

Tom

Mr. Paul:

You did miss the cherry pop on the Sled, pretty uneventful, which is
a good thing. It was just me and the Sled and she coughed a couple
times and flamed right on. The zork is pure wood !!!!!

I start her every couple days and warm it up but it's pretty shi--y
outside and I have no tail yet so we are waiting for some tail and
clean dry roads. The tail is going to be primed this coming weekend
and paint the week after so it won't be long.

Due to the fact that patience is the only virtue I have left I'm not
pushing it. Although I do sneak out to the garage a few times each
day just to look at her great ass !!!!!

Hi Paul,

I'm very pleased to see this post...its been a few weeks since our telephone convo where you said this might be happening. I was beginning to wonder if the planetary alignment window had closed on you before you could close the prerequisite deals on your other vehicles.

Well played, and welcome back.

I think we're all waiting for a lil' tail, Cole. It was, somehow, just not Paulie's...

Cole! That's music to my heart!!! FukkinAright! NOICE! So bummed I missed that gem of a post in my bit of trolling. Off to search stat! Kudos and congrats my friend.

And - as is the case in life - sitting around, awaiting tail. And so it goes 8-).

Hey Tom! Thanks for those thoughts, it's great to be back - and yes - in MY car. It was pretty sorted and sweet and only 56k so I'm getting a known commodity back. Couple nits to sort immediately... shrunken windshield gasket and heater control dogbone issue come to mind - it's like I never left, oy.

Jakester! Jahmon... fuch that was like moving mountains, but it all came together - everything's coming up Millhouse... finally. I f'd up logistics on the 930 which lost me about 45daze but the wheels are finally turning and now I just await transport. Phew.

When I do take Frankie up on his EFI deal - careful - you KNOW I'll be callling you. Clear a spot in yer werkshop for me (if it's recovered yet? if not, come on up heh heh)...

Hey Geoff, great to see yer still around as well!

Good to see you and you somewhat twisted sense of humor back in the fold!

Just what the hell were you thinking in the first place? Shame on you for breaking all our hearts when you left, and yet still expect to be welcomed back with open arms. Well, all 'newbies' know the rules....where are the obligatory picts to prove you're not just gonna piss on our parade again?

Looking forward to your involvement here once again Paul.

What a great story, and welcome back :-)
As Cole said, once a 930 guy, always a 930 guy :-)

Must be a great feeling getting the old baby back home.
I still thinking of my white 78 930, but I got a new mean machine 930 instead :-)
