I adore these wheels and want a set so badly but man o man for that price tag I can buy a nice set of custom built wheels.

Guess that's the price for exclusivity.

They need to be refinished as well, I would make a generous offer near two thousand.

What would be a good estimate for refinishing?

If you are getting them done locally could be around $750-1000. Keep in mind these wheels are no longer offered. They did a short run sometime last year for around $4.5k if iirc. If you can get them for about $2.8k plus an additional $1k for refinishing to your taste, you might just have a fair deal between you and the seller. Not the deal of the century but not the worst either.

I think the guy is asking a fair price. These wheels will only get harder to find. In 6 months you will wish you bought them. I have seen these wheels in perfect shape for $5,900. For $3150, a steal. If I had the funds, I would but them and list them in 12 months for $5,000.

3.6 wheels are decidedly more rare than Ruf, I own an original BTR and I have those wheel if you are in the know they are out there brand new on the shelf. Enough said, I hope the seller gets his price but three short years I was selling those in Speedline new for 3200 and Avus for 2800.

the best 3.6 wheels are RH Wheels.
not cheap, but look the best and are high-quality.

Lincoln-
Doing well.....getting old. I'm in the midst of relocating from Savannah to near the Atlanta area where the kids are. Finding all kinds of parts (356, 911, and 930) that I'll never get around to using.......maybe someone can put them to good use.
I know that your car is a long way (performance-wise) from where it was when I last saw it in NC......remember to keep the shiny side up.

I will certainly try, you are not getting old just more complex, rare and plain smarter than your younger self.
Good luck with the wheels, why not refinish them then put them up I have new centers for them as well.
