914 with a 3.3L turbo ...anyone done this?

This would make a sleeper of a car in terms of weight, and not a 911, but still, if done right, could be a real giant killer with roughly 300HP to I would guess about
2350lbs.

Anyone seen projects taking a 3.3L standard turbo and placing in a 914?

Richard Clewitt did this conversion many years ago.

I came up on him cruising north on the 101 freeway about 10 years ago on the way to the Monterey Historics. We hammered down for a little while, but he surprised the hell out of me by walking away from me at 100mph in his yellow 3.1L 914/6. I didn't find out until a few years later that it was turbocharged.

Turbo 914's are way fun... We have had a prolonged Winter still a lot of snow around, but i should be able to get the car out next week as Spring is expecting to arrive this weekend. Over the Winter I plumbed in another 044 fuel pump in the front to help the rear 044 feed the engine easier and hope to install a longer 5th gear sometime this Summer. It's nice that some of you still remember me....

The Ruf fuel head from my BTR resides in Iamchappy's 914 turbo. I would love to have a build like that one day.

Yup, it eats and breathes through Lincolns old fuel and intake system, and it eats and breathes well!
