Porsche 930 Turbo. Truly exceptional Porsche 930 Turbo, this is the one to buy, Jaw dropping beautiful No expense spared in maintenance, receipts, many records for years. 3.3liter flat air cooled 6 cylinder single turbocharged engine 4 speed synchronized manual shift transmission Factory Galvanized steel body, will last a lifetime 69.9K miles Euro version identified by 700 series in the serial number. These differ from the US versions by their free flowing exhaust headers and larger fuel head & lines. No Cats or thermal reactors, Initial horsepower was higher than US version by about 25 HP. They sit 1 inch lower and stick lick glue, Highly sought after, they are extremely rare and hard to find. In 1978 only 735 were produced from the factory in Stuttgart, Germany. This car was one of the last at #730 Steel slant nose 930S Front spoiler Vented boxed style rockers Paint: Body was taken apart, paint removed to original Zinc coating then Silkens epoxy primer followed by Silkens Guards Red and multi coats high UV clear coat applied Over $6k for this She shines like wet lipstick Most exterior rubber weather stripping installed new at this time Leather interior looks terrific. Wrapped in Bridgestone RE750's Ultra high performance tires, sticky, good wet or dry, tires are 55-60% Bilstein shocks Engine and Transmission: Engine out for paint so SC High lift cams were installed, nice lumpy idle, REALLY comes on at about 3800RPM Transmission had new syncros installed and a new Sachs super heavy duty pressure plate and clutch disc were installed at the same time. Both Fuel pumps replaced with Bosch factory units (New) Recent leakdown tests were perfect, cylinders within 2% of each other, approx 1.5 k miles ago Engine re-torqued as per factory manual, approx 1.5 k miles ago Valves adjusted, new Bosch Platinum plugs installed New shift coupler, & shifter bushings New High pressure fuel lines both feed and return(turbo fuel pumps put out 90 PSI, this car has 2) from the tank to the engine, new filters and accumulator were installed . $1K for this upgrade Performance Mods: SC High Lift cams, cammy sounding idle, pleasant to the ears, Powerhaus Large capacity intercooler Rarely8 hi flow dual outlet Stainless Steel straight thru muffler K-27-7200 HS turbo installed Euro fuel head on injection system, flows much more fuel. (Stock on this car) Euro fuel rails Euro free flow exhaust headers (Stock on this car) Stock .8 bar boost spring, (can gain 25-30 hp by simply replacing with 1 bar spring, easy swap, still safe) Permatune High output ignition Carrera cam tensioners Front mounted B&B oil cooler with braided Stainless steel lines Approx 400 horsepower at shaft, 350 RWHP on pump 93 octane gas, can use race gas with NO problem, 2750 lb curb weight 13 mpg city, 23 mpg hwy Recent work: New Valeo 75 watt alternator with internal regulator *New, not rebuilt New Bosch starter, * New, not rebuilt New flywheel starter ring gear New spark plug wire ends, New fuel injectors , *New not rebuilt Modified fuse panel to eliminate the pesky "Hot fuse" to the pumps, Now has a circuit breaker instead New shift coupler, shifter bushings 1K ago New fuel lines from the front tank to the engine including new filters and accumulator were installed recently. Timing set, air /fuel ratio set New Battery New AC Compressor, Sanyo rotary, much better then the original, new belt Oil change with Castrol GT -1 20-50 wt @ 69k miles This car has had great care and it shows it. It is sleek sexy and gets a lot of looks. It is scary fast , not for the faint of heart. Punch it and hold on
