Thanks to everybody!!!!!!!

Well, I sold her.
We've had a lot of good times and some bad. She will be missed. I wish I could afford to keep her and buy a track toy, but it's time to move on.

I just want to take the time to say thank you to everybody on this forum. You all have given me help and insight over the years I've had her. I'll still be on Pelican, just in a different section.

So, this is my "new to me" baby.

A '72 911, with a race built 3.2 with mechanical injection. Gutted inside, full cage tied into the suspension. Full coil-overs, 935 front A-arms, turbo rear trailing arm. Fuel cell, bolt-on wide fenders, 18x10 and 18x11.5 Fiske wheels on Toyo R-888's. Fiberglass hood, bumpers, fenders, trunk lid. Plexiglass rear and all side windows. 2100 lbs with a half of a 27 gallon fuel cell. I've already had her out at the Streets of Willow. What an animal in the corners. And she has headlights, turn signals, brake lights and a license plate.

So you sold the one that the wife could ride in, and bought a track toy with only 1 seat....must be the reason for the mattress in the garage. :}

Thats funny, I got a good laugh out of that.. never been married but know a lot of guys that have.

Both cars are gorgeous and set up really nice. I always liked the bumpers, front turn signals, and long hood of the early cars best. I like the older BMW's too.

Enjoy it!!
