Wideband Routing Hi Guys I've got my engine and tranny back in the car. Got the car running this weekend. Had a small issue with drip tank hose leaking, causing a smoke show. Need to get a new SS line. Fabbed up a temporary line. Also had an issue with the car running on after turning the key off. Did not have this problem prior to doing the engine drop. Did the ignition delay bypass. Problem gone. I am installing an AEM wideband and was wondering how you guys routed your wiring? I have the 12' harness. I purchased some Cool Tape to wrap the harness that is close to the turbo. Did you guys route the harness on the left or the right side of the engine? Did you route harness throught the center tunnel? or through the back seat? Also what 12V switchable power did you guys tap into? Thanks in advance. Regards John |

I had to add a few feet to my harness. I ran mine throught the tunnel and out under the dash, then through the gauge cluster and into where the gauges are. This replaces the clock in my NA car. |

Ran mine high inside the wheel well zip tied to the trunk release cable then down into a hole where rear drivers side seat meets the floor, rubber plug covers the hole presently. then under the carpet and under the console to the dash. Switched power i used was two fuses forward of the fuel pump fuse. |

 Thanks Guys. |

One more question guys, my wideband outputs a narrowband signal. Can I use this signal to feed the lambda computer to adjust the fuel? |

Where did you place the sensor itself? We put ours in the tailpipe section after the muffler, as we could find no other spot.... I just wonder if after the muffler will give inaccurate readings? We ran our harness along the upper vacuum hose of the wastegate, into the car above the tunnel, as our car was fitted with a manual boost controller that was installed behind the heater controls. |

I ran mine along side the center console, under the driver's seat, through the hole under the rear DS seat, along the inside wheel well, under the engine tin, around the turbo and plug in to the muffler neck using a heat sink. No extra cable left. |

Lc1 I ran mine up between the tin and engine seal to keep as much wire as possible away from the heat, at the back of the engine I again did the same between seal/tin, and routed it down with the fuel line to the grommet/hole behind the drivers seat. Ran mine, along side of wastegate hoses wrapped in cool tape, through grommet behind drivers seat, under drivers seat, and mounted gauge under ashtray. Phillip where did you get the oil drip tank? I sometimes have a smoke issue and feel my can is to small. Check scavenge pump and I have good suction. Will post some pics later. |
