voltage regulator
does anyone know if there is a higher output voltage regulator available? mine is a paris rhone internal thanks electrical gurus

its not the VR. the alt's windings and diodes etc are what makes it higher output

Unless you're asking about a regulator that will control to a higher voltage...if voltage is your definition of higher output. As already stated, it's the construction of the alternator itself that determines the output; i.e., amperage that it delivers. Higher amps=faster charging rate. What are you trying to accomplish?
I don't believe there are any alternatives to the standard voltage regulator. You really don't want to charge at anything much over 14.5 volts max when your battery is down, or 13.5 as a float charge.
