Dropping a 3.0//3.3L turbo engine in a SC??

Hi gents,

I have a 80`s SC and dreaming about building a yellowbird look alike / tribute.
This and the fascination of fast Porsche`s drives me to post this thread.

In the car today I have a 3.0L engine with the original spec of 180HK.

One of the questions I have to you gents is... Could I drop a 3.0 or 3.3 turbo engine in my car without modifications to the sheet metal? I know I need the new brain and electrical harness but is there something more difficult or expensive upgrades I need to do?

I also need the turbo brakes and the turbo torsion bars to get the car approved with the new engine I guess.

Is it possible to use the 915 transmission with the turbo engines or do I need to use the 4 speed with the 3.0L turbo and fit a G50 with the 3.3L turbo?

Thanks! :)

I have a reinforced 915 in my 930 powered (3.0 L non intercooled turbo) 73 911T. Dyno showed 340 hp and the 915 handles it nicely. I think anything approaching 400 hp would be pretty hard on a 915.

Coolest thing I've ever done to a car and most responsive thing as well.

I broke my second gear with 325hp and 350 lb torque. I'm on my second 915 looking for a deal on a g50 or 930 box.
