Oil pipes ??

I have once seen many 930 engines with the tube that is red arrow, I wonder that my not have the pipes it is a 78, what is the significance of this pipe?

That is the factory oil line which accompanies stock 930s with factory heat exchangers. Most cars with headers will use an early style oil line or an aftermarket braided line. The pic above shows what I believe are RARLYL8 headers which allow for the use of the factory line...
