Nice Run-Mexico

Greetings:

Late morning temps. in Mex. mid-60's or so. I had a run with a Ford mustang GT-500. Nice white w/blue strip down the center hood and back. Was in 4th gear (915) doing approx-60-65mph or so..Mustang came on my passenger--smiling and eager for a go..Was thinking going to 3rd gear, but the car felt hungry and left in 4th.. He nodded and we took off simultaneously together. My car pulled immediately give or take 3-4 car lengths, shifted into 5th fast asap--pinnned-pedal(1bar boost) give or take..I was 6-7 car lengths--I can see he let off once when i had a nice distance. No 2nd run. Met up with him and spoke a little. 2008 Ford shelby GT-500. He expressed he put in over 20-grand for an HP-Upgrade to be over 650HP. Looked at his engine/car..supercharger-big air intake--6speed-racing clutch..blah--blah--He just did a pulley upgrade.. I expressed r u sure u have 650hp and how do u do against Z06's????
His answer-no problem with Z06-s' and I should have more than 650-hp..Went to bigger injectors...

The Ford owner-old school guy/classy gentleman..Was very surprised and I think more happy for me than anything..

My car 82SC-3.3T. 915-7006-B&B Dual-SC/Cams-magnecore wires-MSD-6AL&Epoxy coil-Euro headers-HKS 7th Injector-Denso-copper plugs-Andial Intercooler-KEP Light Weight PP-Clutch-Front oil cooler. Blah-blah-blah. Recently changed to Delvac-15w40--from Valvoline 20w50 VR1..Revs-quicker and I feel the difference.

Yup--I AGREE...

Believe me..I asked this guy over and over and wanted to look at his engine..Open discussion.. He just shook his head...in a good way.

No idea--as 2 HP....Just running against anyone who comes up,,,Doesn't matter..

Had the pleasure to run with ALEX-930 with his Euro 930...GOOD DRIVER. ,,He thought I was quick..Except for Targa roof---As he says its a condom when drving ;;lol,, Got that sorted out..

I bet that felt very satisfying. Congrats. I love to run up against american muscle and see their face after I spank them with a car that is 25 years old.

Thats cool!
I had a new cobra mustang on my a$$ a few weeks ago and he didn't pass me but I had the feeling he could have ya know? His 650hp were real. Couple days later a corvette 2009 or newer z06 looked stunned to be nudged aside by my old school Porsche. Sounded great, looked great, got passed.
