Space Coast Pelican's

Any Space Coast PCA folks going to meet and drive up to Daytona Sat morning 5 Oct?

I guess we are meeting at the Lowes Parking Lot near I95 and South Fiske Boulevard, Rockledge, FL, at 0900 to drive up and catch the DE Events this weekend.

A buddy and I are gathering at McDonald's at 520 and I-95 at 0800 for a quick bite and proceeding to the meeting point.

Look for the '86 930 Slant and the '87 Super-Charged Carrera.

930S front valance

I love the front valance on the slant. I've been looking for a Porsche one.: with no luck. That pic is a good comparison. Sorry for the hi jack. Philip

That is my '86 Ultra-Smith/Ruf Conversion 930. It doesn't look like a regular RUF valence though. The front mounted oil cooler is money! I can sit in stop and go without the engine over-heating even here in Florida.

Now if I could only muster up the $$$$ to prevent me from overheating in the summer!

We moved down from Jax last July and I have not had it out and about a lot. Very weak A/C.

We live out at the Beach in Cape Canaveral so I usually spend my time on 528 in and out of Orlando and A1A when it is out.

There is a red Lambo Diablo out here somewhere. Just when you thought you were the big kid on the block.............

Absolutely!

It was a great trip. I don't get her out much so the rain this morning revealed the need for new rear tires. Oooooof!!!!!

Nothing like racing slicks on the I-95.

So how do we put one of these Turbo drives together. We can have our own Spacecoast Turbopalooza. Maybe we pick a starting point and all go somewhere for lunch? We need to do this before the end of the year!!!

I could go for some good BBQ! There is the Sunday Cars N Kafee at the Yacht Club on the 15th.

I have a sneaking suspicion Groovie will be leading the pack. But I have a few tricks up my sleeve that might just let me catch him... Eventually.
