WTB 930 3.0 Turbo parts

I just bought a modify 930 3.0 and looking for original Engine parts ( Car has 3.3 Intercooler ) and original rear Wailtail / Spoiler.
Maybe some one can help to find the Parts.

Are you looking to remove the intercooler returning it to stock? I have the ducting that goes under the tail and I am pretty sure I have the piping also.

That car looks good to me. Stock ones are aplenty. I'll bet it runs better the way it is now.

Get a spray can of corrosionx or gibbs and spray on the fan, fan housing, and intake manifold... (don't spray it on the fan belt and pulley's) and watch all that nasty chaulky corrosion go away on the magnesium.

You might have to rub it a little with a terry cloth rag or scotch brite pad if it's bad.

Spray some more on every 3 to 6 months depending on if it's parked and driven in rainy weather and the ugly corrosion will not come back.

I never thought of Corrosion X on the fan. I put it on my crank and all other steel parts when I rebuilt my engine and not one part had a hint of rust after 2.5 years sitting in a shed in plastic totes not sealed.

Yeah, it's amazing stuff. xbmwguy turned me on to it.
They make sever types and the red can Amazon.com: CorrosionX Lubricant and Penetrant 16 oz.: Automotive is for marine and automotive use and it's great.
I read here gibbs is good too but i never see it anywhere and around here the marine hardware stores have corrosionx.

Yep, I used the teal colored HD kind. I find it at Academy Outdoors in the fishing section. Originally it was designed for marine/salt environments if I'm not mistaken.

Never ever put it on a flywheel clutch contact area! Solvents can't really fully dissolve it.

i think i remember the ad too. it was a while after i bought mine and i was thinkiing it would be a fun car. i dont remember it being a 3.0 though.

why put it to original. the car is far from it and you are much better off with the IC.
i would spend my money on pulling all the intake stuff off and have it all powder coated.

I had a blast building this 930 and even more fun driving it (especially on track). Scary fast (to me) & stuck like glue. I wish I had kept all the stock 3.0L turbo engine parts as well as the 77 body & interior parts. I never thought I'd sell it...but there you go.

Stephan, I hope you can aquire all the parts you need to build it the way you want it. When our transaction concluded, and you told me you were planning to go back to stock I just thought "oh my, that's gonna be expen$ive!!" Have fun with the Blood Orange beast!

I'm finishing up my next project:

Good to hear you're making progress with you're parts search.

You can use any pictures you want, I love to see it on the Forum!

I saw your Turbo 2002, that one was uber sweet!! I'll be assembling my 2002 after some color sanding and buffing, I painted it myself...

Yes, please keep the updates coming!!
