Hello fellow pelicans ...
![]() Thanks to our good friend "Profighter" , Roland to others he was kind enough to send me a CAD program to make some air block off plates for my 930 front rotors. I set up a deal with a machine shop here locally that does water jet cutting and had some made to see how they fit. Well as you can see in the following pics I would say pretty good fit , only need 2mm longer bolts to take up what you loose from the plate thickness. I also had them cut some injector blocks I purchased from our host to 36mm for my new EBS cams I had upgraded for the turbo motor I'm building. So if anyone is interested let me know after the holidays , everyone is going on vacation and wont be back till the 2nd week in January. Thanks Kozmo ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice job!
Excuse my ignorance, and I did see these parts on Rolands thread as well, but what do the rotor plates actually do (apart from blocking air....from where and why?)...I've never seen them before. Thanks Spencer

I'm sure someone will come along shortly and clarify in more technical or eloquent terms, but this is the basic premise... |

Everyone seems to have the idea... yes when running cooling duct hose to the center of rotor , air runs out the rotor vanes. But with these plates the air is forced to all go out the vanes and nothing escapes to the hub area.
