Parked next to a newbie...
In a parking garage...it's a late Turbo S...mine is a 76 930...#368. The latest technology and design, for both. Think he'd trade?

It may already be worth more. A 76 turbo sold for $100k at auction this past weekend.

The Turbo S is a damn fine looking machine, probably full of all sorts of high-tech bells and whistles....so much to where you don't even realize you're driving a sports car, being super-insulated from all the annoying input that a 930 gives you. "Raw" describes our cars. We live for the moment, and "in" the moment...that's the attraction of the 930. They're pieces of history that eventually lead up to the modern P-turbos. Actually, I would love to have one of each but I would settle first for old school.

I almost bought an 07 turbo w/19k on it for $65k in March. Passed on it and bought my 77 930 a week later. A friend paid $85k for an 08 about a year ago with similar mileage and PCCBs. I can't believe how the 997 turbo prices have dropped!

I heard of over $100k for almost 2 years now for really extra nice 75 - 77s. A few years ago I recently got back in a great 79 w/33K miles for a 2002 TT w/20k miles. Could never happen today. The value now of the 79 far exceeds most early wc TTs.

The 996TT is the value buy of the century over here, quick car, the interior is horrible though, and most of the exterior.
Most of our taxis over here are Ford Falcons, their interior reminds so much of 996s, and vomit. ![]()
