				Confused about pressure plate numbers

Hi guys Just removed my engine in my 89 turbo The clutch has been replaced with a spring type in the past Have a question on the pressure plate The one on the car is part number 950 116 023 50 when I do a search it shows for a rubber disc. Can we use this preasure plate with spring disc? The spare one I have and was going to install says 303 205 3099 and it also says 930 116 021 03 What is the difference with the stock ones I have and the replacement ones ? Thanks Last edited by ertech; 12-15-2013 at 06:33 PM.. | ||

950-116-023-50 = stock iron pressure plate for a 1989 Turbo with a G50/50 5-speed transmission. You can use a spring hub organic disc with it, #930-116-014-02, about $400. 930-116-021-03 = stock iron pressure plate for a 1978-88 930 with a 4-speed transmission. It will not work with your flywheel and 5-speed.
