Value of Complete `79 930 Engine
 

Just got a line on a bone stock 930 engine out of a `79 ROW car that was totaled (t-boned, I'm told) about two years back. Miles at impact were 95K. Apparently it still gets started with some regularity (confirmed by a friend who watched it happen recently). It's over a thousand miles from here but if I can pick it up at the right price...

Assuming it needs rebuilt, any ideas as to value?

Il start the bidding at 5k, but thats just a guess. Maybe more if good leak down numbers can be produced.
