Robbby-

Is that USD?

For what it's worth, I paid $250.00USD for a 25k mi OE unit.

Granted, that was 7yrs ago. I'm thinking they've not appreciated $1,450 in that time 8-)

GLWS & the clutch...

Maybe I should do that too. I'd like to see you sell it for that cause I'll do that as well if the market is up for it.

That makes two of us since I just happen to have a plethora of OEM parts safely stored. Let's keep those used parts prices elevated, folks!

Ive looked on ebay in Australia and worldwide and there is 1 (one) 930 wastegate for sale,

in Comparism for rarity

An Australian 1930 penny of which there were 8000 made sells anywhere from 20000 to a million dollars depending on condition,

There are around half a dozen of them at any one time on Ebay

So its not just the cars its the parts that are becomng rare and expensive,
I know one guy he doesnt even own a 930 but he spends half his pay every week buying parts for them, from door handles to wipers, a very big stockpile and hes not selling any of it,

yet

hmm My wastegate is sounding too cheap maybe when the one on Ebay sells i should put a zero on the end of mine ???!!!

Once I got my car sorted out, I sold that manifold. I have the andial intercooler made for the early 75-77 turbos which I value highly though. I couldn't get rid of that!.
Good luck.

all bits are out of the car and now awaiting bits to put in!

Going to be fun, the last bolt on the manifold was a pain but all good, bonus that i can reuse the gaskets and bolts they are all in excellent condition

easy

would have been easier and quicker to just drop the motor from the car...
I hope I am not repeating something you have already heard..

With my broken back theres no way i can spend any time lying under the car trying to undo something, even reaching behind the airbox nearly caused an episode
So this way might be less efficent but its best for me,
(i can hear many muttering to themselves ahh that explains it)

Now i can do some engraving and dremelling while waiting for the upgraded parts,

should be interesting having a 3.3 manifold and intercooler on a 3.0 engine, im hoping for 10 degree temp drop and some increase in ponies at least 5 -10

btw theres a Wastegate on Ebay for $400 bugger hope it goes fast mine wont sell while its there

Reminder mine is the last one to come off the assembly line in 1976 in the world,
from car build #644, thats got to count for something

I may have to list a few of the ones I have collected over the years. Usually get them for $25-$75 dollars. In working shape!

Jeeeesus...I was going to make some "desk art" out of mine; perhaps not.

What with this and a complete Euro CIS setup, along with EZ69 (which are currently fetching a kings ransom), I think I may have to look to free up some storage space. And pay off the mortgage.
