One of the only cars that has ever etched into my memory is the slantnose (well, my wife included). I do like both styles and I am not bias. I never thought to own a slantnose, but now I do. Bought it when the prices were low back in the day. And they do draw much attention, sometimes a little too much. I was driving home on I-95 one day and car lined up along side me doing about 60mph, all wide-eyed at my car. I tried to get his attention to let him know that the traffic in front of us was braking, but he kept drooling. Well, he finally decided to look ahead and then, instantly, slammed his brakes. He did about four complete spins and finally ended up by the wall facing northbound. Thankfully, he was not injured nor was his car.

Having had both now, the slant does draw a lot of attention, kinda like driving a testarossa around, which is good and bad. Plus, a factory slant is irreplaceable and with the current values, I'd be afraid to drive one. Nothing wrong with the classic nonslant frog style headlights and fenders, they are timeless.

Really classy color. Nice looking car; I also prefer the 930 fenders over the slants.
Who makes the front valance?

Do you have a better shot of those wheels? They look awesome. What size/type are they? Philip

Beautiful car JM. Love those Simmons wheels and I also live in the jungle of concrete known as Houston.

Thanks to all for the compliments.

The front valance was made by RUF. The oil cooler is mounted in it.
The wheels are 18" BBS. I'm not sure of the model, as they were fitted by the PO. I believe they are e88 3 piece wheels. He told me that they were center lock race wheels, custom machined to fit this car. The tires are Pirelli P-Zero, 225/40 up front, 285/30 in the rear.
