The welding is completed now and the Body just came back from the sandblaster. He is sprayed in primer now and ready for finishing in Grandprix white. Engine is almost ready to be remounted.
Next step is the transformation of the bodywork to 935,5, keep you posted!!

And then the real fun, the mounting of all the goodies..

Enjoy..
Ronald

Update

Car is in the bodyshop now. They are now proto typing i.e. Making the plugs which will be the base for the moulds for the bodywork.

All bodywork including the roof will be in carbon fibre aramide. There will be two type of fenders on the car, the slantnose and the standard ones.

Total width of the car will be 206centimeters....

Are you keeping the roof rails?

If your aluminum injector blocks are the same thickness top to bottom as the original plastic injector blocks and then add 10mm for the heat insulator and extra intake manifold gasket with it, do you use 10mm longer intake manifold studs or just thread them into the intake manifold about 10mm less with red loctite?

Also, if you used longer studs to keep the same amount of thread engagement in the flat 930 intake manifold, where did you get them?

Chris, if you see my question here I'd like to hear your opinion on this too.

thanks.

If talking about aluminum CIS blocks, question for other thread? :-)

These EFI blocks use the stock intake studs, as do TK's v2.0 EFI Injector Blocks.

OK, I'll start a new thread with my question.
At the same time his looks possibly a little short on thread engagement on his intake manifold stud nuts so I wanted to ask...

This is pretty cool and not far off of a project I considered with one of my tubs.

What is the intent of this car? Do you plan to make it street legal?
