Repair Shop Recommendation in Ft. Worth

Hi,
I am moving to Ft. Worth in a few days and would like to get my 930 in the shop for some service work. Does anyone have any recommendations of a good service shop in the area?

Neill

This shop isn't in Ft. Worth, but if you are willing to travel to Addison/North Dallas (about 60 miles depending on where you are in Ft. Worth) I can recommend Stuttgart Auto Center. It's a small, simple (no concierge or espresso bar ), two man shop, and I've known the tech, Phillip Fromme, for over 25 years - very skilled, and most importantly, honest. I've also known the other tech/service writer, James, for about 10 years, and he is also first rate. The prices won't be "cut rate", but they will be competitive.

Two shops

There are two shops that I would recommend..

Mayo performance is one of the best...fantastic people and very personable...reasonable on pricing as well. They value the customer...they mainly focus on the non-water cooled models. They would be the closest to you.

Mullinex which is in Carrolton is also a good shop. The owner is the main mechanic and he is also very friendly and personable.. he also does the PCA tech sessions.
He also does maintenance on the 996 boxster models as well.

Welcome to Ft. Worth in advance! There are quite a few members in the DFW area. I am located up in Keller which is far north Ft. Worth.

My recommendation was going to Mayo Performance as well...

I hope you get acclimated quickly!

Kind regards,

Chris.

Thanks for the advice everyone!! I just booked the transporter and my car will arrive at Mayo Performance soon. BTW - I will live very close to the Keller area so hopefully we can all meet up some time.
