does anyone know this car? somene from fchat said they thoght it was FS last year. i'm trying to get more info. i may be in.

I remember an Ice Green car selling on eBay recently, I thought you had commented on it after the auction ended because you thought someone got a deal but I could be wrong.

I found this while searching, check out the asking price for that car!!

Funny how this one gets snatched up at probably six figures or near. And the red 76 which is a bastard frankenstein cant generate ANY interest. You would think with the deep pockets that these folks have someone would sweep that car up drop 40k to put that car right then sell for 100k?

No tony it was not me. as you may remember I have to think more about it and not jump straight in. I had not gotten the info from the seller to even further contemplate it. if it sold for that price i could kick myself. do you think someone came in and offerd alot more money on the side and he took it and closed the auction early?

i also thoguht i saw an ice gren also a wile back but cant remeber.

re price, when i was actively (traveling all over) looking for a 76/77, that was the price decent one's were going for in 09..

I brought it up on Fchat if it was the one that sold last year. I was tracking the sales last year so I could prove the values to Grundy. I kind of gave up on it in Fall as I had lots more things to do and Hagerty came up with their report on Jan 1 of this year. Hagerty's next report is due in a month. It should be interesting. I never got around to getting my car insured with Grundy as the lady helping me gave me such a bad time.

Now that it was reported that the 79 black 15K mile one actually sold outside of ebay for a reported $189K I wonder what the actual price was that the seller got by closing the auction early on the ice green 1977. WPOZZZ may know if he charts these things. Anyone have a way to find out??

Just had a guy wanting to get my very nice 78 for the price of the 77 that closed early @ $61XXX. Unintended consequences. Is that toniponi's 79 red 930 on ebay for BIN $85K?

Allllrighty then. Guess 100% excludes Turbo Carrera floor mats (don't think those are part of a '79 VIN with 930 in the VIN), aftermarket exhaust, Optima Red Top, and aftermarket door speakers. CLASSIC, after all the posts we've been subject to lately. Love it. Not certain, but them thar fog lenses look suspicious to boot.
