Monticello is a great track, I've run it several times in the 997tt. Did they let you guys do the full course?

Funny, when I got it I had the modded 997tt, 555hp, figured I'd keep it and flip the 930. Ended up selling the 997 and keeping the 930. The 930 isn't totally stock; borla, bilstein sports, strut bar, permatune, 1.0 spring, lowered and aligned.

Had a great day! It was fun meeting and talking with you guys. We'll definitely have to do something again before the season ends. I got a few hot laps in Jacob's track car as a passenger, it was pretty intense(first timer) but I was in safe hands. A group pic..

Post pictures from the track! Wish I could have joined you guys there but couldn't race and had to keep peace with the family. I didn't post any of my prep work pictures for Turbopalooza but being stock and built by beer fueled West Germans in 87. . . the car just works! So I forgot the small oil leak and the rest of the projects getting ready were small.

Friday was great weather, here we are heading onto the highway

took a break and parked by a stream

After the drive, back at Jake's country house

Headed back this morning just in front of the rain. . . or so I thought. Had the top down and as long as I kept driving at 65mph I stayed dry. This picture is me headed toward the light and I outran the storm the rest of the trip driving in beautiful weather

Such a great ride, great group of guys, this was my first turbopalooza and it was a lot better gathering in real life and putting faces to pelican handles. Thanks again to Jake for providing the house for us all to crash in and great route to drive. The weather was so great this weekend I had to add more fluid when I got back-Sunscreen.
I have a .mov from when we were driving through town, I need to post on youtube and add a link.

Also, thanks to Paul for the escort down. His finest mod is the headlight that lights up the treetops that can capture owls in flight!
thanks again guys, a great time and post pictures from today so we don't miss it!
Matt

Ha! True indeed, Tugjob!

There's nothing quite like the track experience - completely envious of yer get-together!

Looks like a really nice track and you guys must have had a great time. Wish I had been there.
Most fun I've ever had by myself was the time I had my car on track at Palm Beach international raceway some years ago during supercar weekend. It was at night in February and it was like 50 degrees out so the cars ran really good.
...and Yuengling beer is one of my favorites! I love it.
