I still have my original Fuchs wheels, but I like this look on 18's.

Well, they do look the most historically accurate for non-authentic Fuchs, but are they ridiculously expensive? I might buy used wheels as I'm not really wanting to spend too much.

$5300 new for a set if you go with the frosted finish. I think the black/polish options are around $4800.

Chris.

They cost what Fikse, HRE and other high quality aftermarket wheels would cost. You can pick them up for $4-5k depending on finish and whether you go for the standard J-lip or the more expensive "soft lip," which adds $600 to the price. I saved by getting the J-lip and doing a faux-RSR finish through a local vendor instead of having Fikse send them to Weidman ($800 and 6 month wait).

FYI, Zuchs standard finish (black centers) with a J-lip are $3,880 list. If you're asking about my car, it's metallic silver.

Chris.
That sounds a little too high for me, unfortunately. My 951 didn't even cost that much!

Are used wheels significantly cheaper?

Yes if you can find the model you want. Used Fikses, HRE, BBS Mags, etc go fast. Lots of used $1k wheels but they are not normally forged or a desirable design. 930 fitments aren't super common which also contributes to how fast a good set will go.

I can't complain with that. Though, it seems to be difficult to find decent-priced wheels that don't look like they're made of plastic. What do the 17" RUF wheels go for, anyway? I might think about selling my set once I get new wheels, but not right now.

Good money if you have the 10" rears. Most sets I've seen (and including those that originally came on my 930) are the nb fitment. I bet you could get the better part of $2.5k if not more.

Skillet, thanks for the compliment. Here is the only other pic I have of the car since I got the rims and did a few exterior mods.

Since this photo, I've spaced out the rears about a 1/2" more. Now the stance is super-badass.
