lets get the REAL value of the 930
i see lots of interests in how high the 930 is right now. but most of that is just asking price. lets see what they actually sell for. i would say limit the purchase time to 4 years ago.
here is mine 36k 2013 january 86 42k miles 9.5 out of 10 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1393938656.jpg |

In Europe these values range from 50k to 120k for a 3.3 and a 3.0 100k and up. Over here the 930 is catching up but I feel there's a bit of a way to go.

paid 1$ for mine in 94, true story.
I bought it from my dad though :). He was convinced if I gave him an actual dollar for it, instead of him giving it to me, it would help with taxes. In 94 we had the internet but it wasnt usefull for things like this. |
Just back from the Anaheim show. Not a lot of 930's for sell mostly LONGHOODS but the few out there were not for sale or very good prices. I seen a nice black/black 1989 for $75,000. A 1986 for $50,000 red/black, a 1978 for $80,000 green/black. Most dealers in the LA area are looking for inventory. Prices are great and most think the whole Porsche vintage 911 world is not in a bubble.

No Mods when purchased except for the wheels and he in included the original white Fuchs 9 out of 10 $00,000 Kinein if your friend purchased that car from someone in Connecticut I once owned that car. I bought it in 2009 for $22k and traded it in in 2011. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1393955124.jpg |
