Good source for OEM aerosol paint

Looking to buy a can of OEM colored paint as well as primer. Any good sources? The net is full of them but I don't think all these places are created equally.

Good luck!

But, if you get the paint code from your car and go to a Dupont or PPG dealer they will mix it for you by the pint, not spray though.

Try this place - they are awesome and do touch-up size, aerosol etc.

I've used automotive touch up a couple of times (link provided above by JJK78-951). I bought regular touch up paint in liquid form from them for my '79 Minerva blue 930, and also bought a rattle can that I used to paint my modified front valance (you can see the result in the picture below). Backyard rattle can paint job, but came out looking fine for my purpose.

Try paintscratch.com When I had my 86 930 Slate Blue Metallic which is hard to match, they did a great job. I bought two cans from them and painted both side rockers which came out like factory.

I have a set of rockers that I was going to bring to the body shop but....for $30 I may try it and if it comes out bad I'll bring it in then. They are just the standard finish in single stage? No clear?

The rockers are textured anyway so they should come out fine. I did clear coat them.

Paint Problem

I have a paint to sample 1978 930. The door post is 218, I thought it was Ice Green Metallic because in 1978 it was not offered so I figured previous owner gave Porsche the Chip from when Ice Green was available like the 1977 MY.

So Ice Green is too light from what my car is...any ideas.

Thx

Take the car to a good body shop, they should be able to scan and color match it for you. I believe it is a PPG system but don't quote me on that~

Good luck!
