Car Carrier
Mark, Have used Intercity and was pleased no issues. I have also heard Reliable is also good but a bit more expensive. Have a car coming from CA going to NH now using Intercity. Covered carrier with horizontal loading gate (no ramps) shipped for 1950.00 with all fee's. Reliable quoted 2395.00 for same ride and same type of enclosed trailer.
Good luck. New toy soon? |

I had a friend who this summer had a E93 M3 shipped through DAS. Showing up with $5k in body damage, two curbed rims and two weeks late. Unfortunately for DAS, she is an insurance adjuster. Thats all the anecdotal evidence I have.
So is your 930 leaving or is its replacement coming home? Inquiring minds.....

I vote for a Mark Houghton 930 Cross Country Relay....by the time you got the car it would be all broken in for you.

Get in touch with forum member (and fellow 930 guy) KG (his real name is Gytis, screen name IDGAF27). He's in the business of auto transport. I used him to ship my race car from Seattle to me in NYC area. Price was good (better than quotes from most of the usual suspects), plus he was able to get the car picked up and delivered to me faster than anybody else. Intercity was fully engaged moving cars for the Pebble Beach Concours and I would have waited weeks until they could do a pick up. I called KG when I was ready, the car was picked up 1 or 2 days later, and then was in my possession a few days after that. Enclosed transport, and on the same truck, without loading or unloading, for the entire trip.

just so ya know there Markmeister... no-show in PA=no keys handed INTO YOUR HAND=no930foryou (<---insert SoupNazi parlance)
(I'm 1/2 kidding) 1/2. Party on tho if yer flyin in, partaaaaaaay'ing w/ us idjutz 'Palooz'er style, then flying home and transportin the car - that I'd get. L5S1 discectomy here ![]() I used Pinder Transport, and the guy who'd shipped it from here to Toronto used TFX which was more a higher line / enclosed / pricier outfit. Lookin forward to JULY... tick frickin TOCK... bizzatch!

That, my friend, would be the plan - regardless of how the machine gets home.

I have been happy with Intercity.
I have been very frustrated with DAS. With respect to the above two companies, you get what you pay for.

Had my car shipped from DE to Palm Springs by Intercity. They were fast, reliable, and kept me updated as they traveled across the country. They were recommended by, (among others), TPC Racing which uses nothing but the best.

I tried intercity but they were too busy for a scrub like me so I found Thomas Sunday and they shipped my baby from South Carolina to San Diego first class white glove status. I'm very pleased. They were also competitive on price. Great customer service as well.
