AFR's getting better

saturday i did a valve adjustment, found a couple of intakes tight.
tightened up the intake bolts....again. did another leak down since i over boosted it. all was good. the NGK plugs i pulled out, fairly new, all looked good cept maybe #4. the ground strap was not as clean at the others, but still good.
i put the WCS plugs back in that came out last time. not a lot of miles on them either.
drove the car, felt like maybe one of the plugs was not good but still ran OK.
AFR's were looking perfect. 2500 in 3rd was 14.7-15.2. even 3k the AFR was still 15.2. i have NEVER seen 15.2 at 3k since i have owned the car. drove it for about an hour, all good. came home let it sit for a little wh8le then drove it again.
all was good except maybe the 3k. now about 15.8. but i did lean out the idle since it was in the 12's. bumped the idle mixture as little as icould to make it richer.
3k was looking good.
sunday, 3k is back to 15.7 but lower RPM's are 14.8-15.2. idle is 12.5, but it sounds and ildes fine.
oh, sunday i put the NGK's back in, ran better, but....could they be burning better than the WCS plugs making it leaner?

i can only assume the intake is leaking again, just not as bad.
but WHY???? new injector blocks and gaskets.

i am considering aluminum injector blocks but $500 is a lot to spend and not be sure it is a fix.
