Vehicle history and authenticity certificate

Howdy all
I'm currently rebuilding/restoring a 1980 Row 930. The car has no history or service records prior to 1996 so I'm trying to find a little more about the cars history. Is there a site available to find out where the car was originally sold and also where is the best place to obtain an authenticity certificate. A search revealed lufteknic as a place to get the certificate but the application form for the request was dated 1995 so I doubt the service still exists. Any help much appreciated.

Go to the Porsche website for the COA, be aware that the COA is only as good as the person retrieving the data. If you call PCNA they will probably tell you over the phone.

Here is the COA link:

I gotta agree with Pat as mentioned above...the COA is only as good as the person retrieving the data. They sent me THREE incorrect COA's before I called them and explained all the options and applicable number codes that my 930 had. Then, they mailed me the correct COA. The COA is far from gospel.
