180kph 2nd gear
Is it possible for a top speed of 180kph in 2nd gear when fully wound out. From a stock 930 3.3ltr 4speed.

All you need is a nearly 26" tall tire and 8000rpm.

Porsche shows the approximate top speed in 2nd gear (3.3l & 4 speed box) at 7K RPM to be 150kph.

Sheet man, just wind her out until the valves float.
150 kph is like 90 mph. I don't think I've taken mine past 80 in 2nd.

I've always been able to hit 90 in second before redline but, i've never verified my speedo with a GPS.
Also, my car is a 81 so I have different gearing.

OK, I just googled it. 180 kph = 112 mph

I've got plenty of 962 2nd gears that will do that.
