1976 Porsche 911 dp Slant Nose Project $9,750.00

No affiliation.....If somebody is looking for a dp project!

It looks rough and it's not a turbo.

Considering the parts alone, it may pay someone to buy it and part it out.

WOW, it's hard to believe that someone was interested in putting so much show into something with so little go!

Looks like it was ordered by an early-eighties Arab college student - one for whom the standard-issue black Trans Am with the Screaming Chicken on the hood wouldn't do.

An old VW bug would be more fun and a much better investment.

It's a mess, but it's still a porsche and could be made to look lots better.

If the bodywork was done right that would be a good basis for a fun project. Looks like a pre 73 motor, that alone could cover pretty much/if not all the cost of the car.
The DP Sweden (not affiliated with Dp) seemed to do a bunch of DP targas.
I'm I the minority of preferring targas to coupes.

Also, a rare front spoiler. The center console should have the 2 side pieces that run forward, enclosing the whole section.

Very good point.. it does have the right pieces and they are authentic..

Interesting too that most of the damage seems to be sun/UV related.. obviously has been sitting outside somewhere.

I wouldn't part it out, I'd fix it up. It's got most of the turbo motor requirements.

Lots of damage, lots of dried out parts that need complete replacement, an engine that is frankly worth LESS than it would otherwise be in my opinion(depending on what it is I guess) but still.......the market is in it's favor I think. Who did the work, DP? If so these is something there and I know DP did those on standard chassis cars so maybe? The price does not seem too high really based on what's out there and the way things are moving in terms of value.
Is it eligible for a restore back to non dp? I think it's better off staying as is but restoring to good condition but even there it's not a cheap job at all.
I didn't see much rust.
