Might not have been the right crowd at the auction. It is a rather speicalised machine, demanding a given buyer. I think it is cool, but really even if I had the dosh I would not buy it. Not enough power maybe or is it the rather boring exterior ... or maybe the wood grain dash, yuck!

Depends who bought it, just might see it again soon at a maga auction. Personally it is a bit much looking ( Two car designs put together, early 505 front half with K3 look rear half ) and underpowered for a 935 look, but for those who like exclusivity or crunch numbers for value?? I hate to say it but some would think they would enjoy a Snickers bar in the wrapper no matter what someone may later have put in it.

Is that all that matters? I've seen other "unusual" looking one off exotics from other makes built in the past that have have not found favor.

Yeh, it was built by a division of the Porsche factory that apparently only built one 935 street car and it looks like it ( to a clients taste, no aspersions on Porsche ), not built by the major builder of the Porsche 935s of that time.
That would be Kremer.

Already there is only one of my 930's left in the world there is no other like mine , And i guess many of us could say that with our specific tasteful mods... except for the people keeping their cars factory, theyre the ones that are common hmmmm

So therefore logically the modded cars will be worth much more one day ?

Interesting Porsche SC Ladedruck boost gauge in that one off 83 factory built street 935 look. My 77 930 has a similar early factory one along with other Porsche Motorsports stuff that was installed when near new but in the USA. Where are you Magnus for a original retro 930? I know you have been interested in early 930s lately as per your email. This could be you however quite a few have been interested lately, so I might just rethink letting it go. Still under 25K miles.( shameless plug )
